The Backbone Carbon is a 28mm internal width full carbon mountain wheel, ready to work hard on your climbs and laugh all the way down. The balanced width is perfect for chunky rubber and the gnarliest of trails, but keeps weight within xc realm. Spin up fast, rip down faster. From and trail cruising to air time bruising, the Backbone Carbon fits the bill.

The Stage 1 mountain bike hubset is custom made for Astral Cycling to provide a reliable, strong and light wheelset option. With upgraded speed of engagement, great strength-to-weight ratio and easily serviceable parts, they’re a value-packed winner for any MTB condition.

All Astral Cycling wheels are hand-build in Eugene, Oregon and feature Tubeless Easy rims you can easily set up at home.
